​Every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and inspiring place to learn and grow. Yet, for the children of Prey Kandeang, this basic right remains out of reach. Many families in our village struggle to make ends meet, and without access to early childhood education, their children are left behind before they even have a chance to start.

That’s why we are launching a project to build a kindergarten for the poor and needy children of Prey Kandeang. This kindergarten will provide a foundation for lifelong learning, offering a safe space where children can play, explore, and develop the skills they need to thrive.

WHY THIS MATTERS

• Education is a lifeline: Early childhood education is critical for cognitive, social, and emotional development. Without it, children face lifelong disadvantages.  
   

• Breaking the cycle of poverty: By investing in education, we can empower the next generation to break free from the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for themselves and their community.  
   

• A safe haven: For many children, this kindergarten will be more than just a school—it will be a safe space where they are cared for, nourished, and encouraged to dream.
